We are excited to announce that the annual DCAC FitCon will transition into the CoreFit Summit DC. Core Health & Fitness is proud to begin delivering exceptional educational experiences. The 2025 CoreFit Summit DC will feature continuing education for fitness professionals in Cycle, Strength, HIIT, and Mind-Body formats, all supported by Core Health & Fitness’ leadership and expertise. We will host certifications on Friday, August 8, 2025, followed by education workshops on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at the Hyatt Regency Reston in Reston, Virginia.

This immersive experience offers a variety of educational opportunities, including industry-leading certifications and engaging sessions that will enhance your skills and expand your knowledge.

What to Expect:
- Certifications (Friday 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM): Kick off your weekend with in-depth certification programs designed to help you level up your expertise. These full-day courses will be available for cycling, HIIT and Strength. You wil need to register for these certifications separate from the Summit.
- Friday Evening: The event officially begins with dynamic sessions at 4:30 PM, followed by a keynote that will inspire and motivate you to achieve new heights in your career.
Back to the Future – Using Our Past to Inform a Bright Future with Michael Piercy - Saturday Sessions: A full day of sessions designed to provide practical insights and hands-on learning. Topics will cover everything from cycle, HIIT, strength training and mind-body approaches, helping you stay on top of the latest trends in fitness.

Aimee Nicotera is an international presenter and Virtual Studio Owner. Aimee holds a BS in Nutrition Science, a Masters in Health Education, and certifications from ACSM, ACE, and AFAA. Aimee is a Lead for Cycling on the Core Health & Fitness Master Instructor Team
Michael Piercy, MS, CSCS*D, RSCC
Michael Piercy is a nationally recognized fitness educator, presenter, and performance coach with a unique background as a former professional baseball player for the New York Mets, Pittsburgh Pirates, and Montreal Expos. Transitioning from pro sports to fitness, Michael brought his passion for elite performance into founding The LAB, a premier training facility focused on unlocking the inner athlete in everyone.
Michael has spent over a decade delivering high-level functional training education to fitness professionals and athletes across the globe. He is the recipient of two of the industry’s top honors: the 2017 IDEA Personal Trainer of the Year and the 2013 TRX F.A.C.E.U.P. Overall Instructor of the Year.
A subject matter expert and educator for leading organizations including ACE, NASM, NSCA, ACSM, and IDEA, Michael also holds a Master’s degree in Exercise Science and Performance Enhancement. His work has been featured in Men’s Health, Muscle & Fitness, Women’s Health, and more. He is the author of Men’s Health 30-Minute Shred and holds numerous elite certifications in performance, corrective exercise, and sports conditioning.
